Mariana Montserrat González Abundiz is an Accountant in the BPO – Accounting department at Guerrero Santana, where she has been part of the team since July 2025. She has a solid professional background backed by eight years of experience in accounting and tax matters, having distinguished herself through her discipline, commitment, and results-oriented approach from an early age.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting from the University of Guadalajara (UDG) and has supplemented her education with a specialization in government accounting. She also participated in an academic exchange program in economics, with a focus on Latin American economics and geopolitics, which has allowed her to broaden her understanding of the economic landscape and its impact on the business world.
Throughout her professional career, Mariana has specialized in tax and accounting, focusing on the calculation and filing of tax obligations with the Mexican Tax Administration Service (SAT), as well as on the preparation of financial statements in accordance with current regulations.
At Guerrero Santana, his primary responsibilities include providing direct client support to address accounting and tax-related inquiries, recording transactions in accounting systems to ensure accurate tax calculations and financial statements, and filing tax returns in a timely manner. In addition, he actively participates in supervising accounting assistants and verifying the consistency of each client’s legal, accounting, and tax information.
Mariana stands out for her meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every process complies with applicable regulations and meets clients’ specific needs. Her results-oriented approach, proactivity, and initiative enable her to streamline processes and ensure compliance within established deadlines. Among her most notable achievements, she was selected for a highly competitive academic exchange program at the University of Guadalajara, being chosen from multiple candidates for one of the few available positions.
